Luggage Security Seals
Understandably, following September 11th, airport security is intense. New regulations are tighter and security measures have become more stringent. For example when travelling to the USA the TSA - Transport Security Administration is suggesting that you do not lock your luggage in the event that they need to open it for additional inspection. If you choose to lock your luggage and the TSA may forcibly open your bag via cutting your lock, you assume liability for any damage to your luggage as a result. The TSA is suggesting that to help prevent damage, if you want to fasten your luggage in some manner, you might want to use plastic zip ties or cable ties. Our seals are perfect for this application and they can also be used to provide evidence of tampering with your luggage in hotel rooms etc. Sealing your bags and cases in this way can be an effective deterrent to theft. The security cable tie is designed to go through the eyelets on soft luggage in a similar way to a padlock. Each tie is uniquely numbered and has space for you to write further identification. It can be broken by hand.

It has unique cuts which allow a small amount of movement between the two joints so that is will not fracture inadvertently. Again it is uniquely numbered with provision to write further identification. When removed it will not leave a sticky residue on your case.
